Cat & Crew Cleaning was built by two people who decided they wanted a different kind of life.

For over a decade, Liz worked in the equestrian industry, helping build and run a busy horse farm from the ground up. The work was demanding, hands-on, and centered around caring for both people and animals. After leaving that world, she spent time in the corporate tech space selling HR software, only to realize that sitting behind a screen and chasing meetings wasn't where she felt most fulfilled.

Kate has spent nearly a decade working in and around education. After starting her career supporting schools and students, she moved into educational technology in 2020 and built a successful career helping educational organizations grow and thrive. But like Liz, she eventually realized she missed work that felt more immediate, personal, and connected to the people around her. As she often says, she'd rather scrub toilets than sit through another corporate meeting.

Together, we started Cat & Crew Cleaning because we wanted to build something local, honest, and useful.

We believe there is real value in helping people care for the spaces where life happens. A clean home feels calmer. A guest-ready rental creates a better experience. A freshly cleaned studio or event space allows people to focus on what matters most. We love creating that feeling for our clients.

Today, Cat & Crew Cleaning serves homes, apartments, short-term rentals, studios, event spaces, offices, and post-construction projects throughout the Philadelphia area. We bring the same work ethic, attention to detail, and sense of responsibility that we've carried throughout our careers.
